Bhakti Akshay is the Founder and Chief Interior Designer at Bhakti Interioprop, which was incorporated in 2005 as a Turnkey Interior Design Service company. Bhakti is a Civil Engineer, but eventually she developed a keener interest in pursuing Interior Designing as a career. Highly fascinated by entrepreneurship- the freedom to create, and financial independence fueled her passion to transition spaces. She believed it was an apt technical symbiosis of her civil engineering degree and aspiration for interiors.
As a practicing Interior Designer, she specializes in Turnkey Projects, where she designs and executes projects with utmost creativity and within specified budgets and timelines. She creates and renovates both residential and commercial spaces.
She feels her entrepreneurship journey is rewarding as she is able to support the livelihoods of numerous skilled and unskilled professionals, contractors, and laborers. Through different projects, she is able to provide them with a dedicated source of income, and she is contributing to their growth and well-being.
Bhakti is proud to champion the ‘Make in India’ concept by actively promoting and utilizing locally sourced materials that rivals imported products in quality and craftsmanship.
Since 2013, Bhakti has also been an Interior Design Coach and is on a mission to empower and build a community of one million Interior Designers, guiding them towards personal transformation and breakthroughs. Her goal is to inspire millions of individuals and professionals to elevate their careers, creating vibrant, cheerful changes in the world by redefining spaces. Simultaneously, she aims to provide a stable source of livelihood for millions of laborers and contractors.
So far, she has successfully coached and mentored 173 students, with 121 of them blossoming into practicingInterior Designers and entrepreneurs and an additional 35 have found success as full-time Interior Designers in prestigious firms.
